The rugs were hand-woven and provided luxurious natural fibers, and a wide range of hues and designs spoke about the geographical surroundings. The history of rugs goes back to the third and fourth centuries and have no proof of originating from one single region.
Persian Merchants have become famous all around the world for their craftsmanship. Their carpets have high artistics details and prestige. The history of Persian weavers is not recorded.
